The Andalusian Centre of Photography organizes Events, conferences, round tables, interviews and talks with specialists oriented both to professional as amateur photographers, students and everyone in interested in this art discipline. The centre also plans group dynamics aimed to young and adult people who wish to become familiar with photography and know this venue devoted to photography.
Furthermore, the centre carries out other activities in the cooperation field, such as projects financed by European funds, the Red internacional de centros de fotografía and it hosts activities organized in collaboration with other institutions. Among the projects that have been financed by European funds RIMAR is to be highlighted, a project of “Recovery of Visual Memory of Andalusia-Morocco through Historical Photography” carried out in the framework of the Transfrontier Co-Operation Project Spain-Foreign Frontiers (POCTEFEX), which is sponsored by the EU and co-financed by FEDER.
The main partner institution is the Instituto Andaluz del Patrimonio Histórico (Andalusian Department of Culture and Sport) and as beneficiary partners the Andalusian Centre of Photography (Andalusian Department of Culture and Sport) and the General Direction of Culture of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture.
